Our guidelines
- Original work only. Not published anywhere else.
- Plain English. Write for non-technical readers. Explain any jargon.
- Accurate and current. Steps must work on current versions of the software or device. Mention which versions you tested.
- Hands-on where possible. Screenshots and first-hand testing make articles far more useful.
- Length. 1,000 to 2,000 words.
- AI use. AI tools may assist, but the article must be written, tested, and approved by you.
- Safety first. No guides on piracy, cracking software, bypassing security, hacking accounts, or anything illegal.
- Links. One relevant author link is allowed. We do not accept links to pirated software, gambling, adult, loan, or misleading websites.
- Disclosure. Tell us if you work for, or are paid by, any company you mention.
